Met up with larling's old-time bens and companions at Republic of Steak for dinner. It's located at Victoria Hotel; I just found out that the bus that I take home everyday from work actually passes by it, no wonder Victoria Hotel sounds familiar.

The onion rings are the nicest although the main star should be their steaks cos it's Republic of Steak, but they have yet to reach the standard of a steakhouse.

And the spaghetti wasn't thoroughly cooked as it was quite hard

His medium well Cowboy steak. Cowboy's is 50gm heavier than cowgirl's, so it's for the boys

We all agree that the steaks weren't consistently cooked. Different parts of the meat gave us different doneness. As the meat wasn't cut evenly,we have all the different doneness in the same piece of meat. Larling's was supposed to be medium well, but his seems bloodier than mine. Oh well, for the price like Botak Jones, we can't expect too much.

The last time I met Cheryl was in late 2009? We attempted many times to meet up so that I can pass her the bday pressie but she was always busy with studies and work. So we finally arranged a date where both of us are free and we exchanged bday pressies! Her present was 9 months' late and I thought I could might as well give her next yr's pressie in advance. Haha. Next year I would want to see her more often cos she's one of my bridesmaids who'll accompany for gown fittings and run errands, ya?

Sec school loves

Met up with sec sch lovelies to celebrate joan's bday. Had a super wonderful night. From exotic mediterranean food to chilling to supper. The amount of rubbish that we can talk under the sky is astonishing. Chatting into the wee hours yet no trace of tiredness. 12 years of friendship and still counting.. Simply love you gals!

Met up with Cheryl yest at Tampines One for dinner.. as usual, we talked about everything, from the gd ol days to our current status. i think she's the longest-standing bestie of mine, half of my lifetime was spent with her. haha. shall meetup again when i come back from HK!

Updates

I havent been updating this space cos work is killing me. Now it's finally off-peak for me and i cant wait to fly off to HK next wk!! my past few engagements have been happy and enjoyable cos i've been working with nice colleages, nice seniors and nice clients, though the work itself is sucky. No matter how busy, i'll still squeeze time out to catchup with my lovelies. I've been meeting sec sch frends, jc frens, and uni frends for consecutive wks.. Friends are really wonderful as compared to colleagues. They are really different.. u'll have to talk to colleagues with caution, cos u'll be alarmed by the speed of gossips when u say something wrong. On the contrary, friends are always there to hear you complain with no strings attached. Love u all guys!!
