this special day marks our second year together.. truly blessed to have met you, fall in love with you and to be with you. aplenty of sweet memories u've given me and i'll cherish them for life.

I think this is the first time where we meet outside not because of proj discussions, but really for an outing. we wouldn't have the time to do this during school time. a no-stress outing, how nice. everyone was on smiles. =)

this is it. my last battle in ntu has just ended, but it was bloody. the freaking 206 paper was quite a stunner can.. the first question already traumatised me badly and when prof KK walked past, he was like taking extra glances at my paper, perhaps he's thinking:"what the hell is she doing". omg. sighs.. i really hope that this paper won't be the failure of my life.

alrights.. life stil have to move on.. and now i'm at the start of my super long holiday!! quite a lot of things i wanna do but don't know how to start and where to start. and just now during lunch we were alr planning what to do tml, and we tried to squeeze everthing in one day! spencer wants to go blading, but samuel wants to play pool/mahjong. but i'm moving out of hall tml morning, so can't join spencer. in the end we'll meet for pool. haha.

speaking of lunch, after our paper we decide to give Palette a try. at first i thought is those kind of high-class restaurant where waiters will serve you, but the concept is just like quad lor. quite disappointing because the aglio olio i ordered was tasted damn awful!!! it's tasteless and dry - there's not even enough olive oil, not enough garlic, how can u call it a aglio olio!! Euukess.. wasted my $4.30. but i tink their other dishes should be alright cos i din hear any complains coming from them. just don't try the aglio olio!!

back to hall.. have to pack my stuff so can move out swiftly tml!! took a few photos of my room for remembrance sake.. oooh i'll miss this room but i definitely dun wanna come back. haha. imagine 1 year of stay in this lonesome room.. my level of endurance is really amazing.

mugger wannabe

Ooo.. time really has powerful wings, cos currently i'm left with one last paper!! somehow this sem cooping in hall to mug doesn't seem as torturous as last few sems.. perhaps its due to my last few days of stay in hall.. and i'm already starting to feel nostalgic about the past memorable hall days. though my third year of stay wasn't enjoyable and fun at all, where all my crappy neighbours and hall friends and ex-roomie XJ all moved out, i'll still miss my hall overall. and of course my penthouse-like room with superb view of the jungle, where the army guys in there would always have those grenade-training (or whatever training that lets out a big 'BOOOM' sound) and scare the hell out of me. but the view from my corridor is really damn chio - in the early morning you'll see the misty greenery and breathe in the wonderful fresh air, and come sundown, this is what u'll see..

pretty rights.. i'm so gonna miss it. i'll take more pics of my lovely room (-_-) and the breathtaking scenery from my 'penthouse' after exams. yah penthouse like what larling described it.

haha. enough of digressing.. shall go back to mugging status.

happy birthday cynthia!!

attended larling's sis 21st birthday celebration at his house's function hall. the party wasn't very elaborate (just like mine) but nevertheless it's the people and the atmosphere that's most impt. the buffet was nice and the setting looked damn atas. the caterer was from kriston and of course better stuff comes with steeper price.

with the birthday girl.. she's always full of energy, very bouncy, very cheerful and outgoing.. very much unlike his bro. dunno why also. muahaha.

larling and i went to collect the cake, and their store concept is really those kind of no frills damn simple kind of design. i don't think there's even any design in it, at first i thought it's some unrenovated store that's open for business.

Grad trip finally settled

This Good Friday hol and weekend was spent on confirming our grad trip. in the end, xj and stella can't join us, so both of us just have to go ahead ourselves. fri we went down to chan brothers' head office to enquire more about their free n easy packages as that was what we planned initially. but after stella confirmed that she can't join us, larling and i changed our minds to tour packages. so today we decided to check out the CTC, Dynasty Travel and Chan Bros travel fairs at suntec. after much calculation and consideration, we found a good deal with contiki tours and finally made our choice.
y contiki? firstly, their land tour prices are in USD. so hopefully on the day of payment, the exchange rate will drop to like 1.3??? secondly, there's 10% discount on all contiki packages. thirdly, even though it's like a guided tour, it's highly flexible with loads of free time in between. and most importantly, its itineraries cover many more destinations than the normal tour packages at only a slightly higher price. and as they pledged:" we don't just offer a destination, we deliver an experience!" haha. to wat extent it's true, wait til we experience it for ourselves and we'll update more on it.
Ooooh.. i'm all so excited to fly again!!

Laughin ol' me

School life has been so hectic over the past two wks and it'll probably continue all the way til end of exams. though very shag but i'll try to love every moment of it, for it's my last chance in uni life. furthermore i simply LOVE my proj members this sem.. they are always so funny!! fri's lunch @ thomson with them really made me roar with laugher can.. esp that samuel's hurling of long strings of hokkien abuse, then stella's there scolding all the ang moh vulgarities. LOL. so after having great pratas n great entertainment, larling and i went to meet our all-time traveling partners xj n jeff.. both of them are another bunch of jokers. what a laughing day on fri. anyway too bad that jeff can't join us on our US trip this time.. but if stella can join us, it'll be as fun too! really looking forward to US trip.. though it'll be a large cash outflow, but now is definitely the best time to go.. esp after we've start working, it'll be difficult to take long leave that's coordinated with the rest. i think at most we can go is short getaway trips to bangkok or hk or taiwan again. but taiwan is indeed a nice place.. i miss the food there esp at their night markets.. oooh it's making me hungry now.. it's supper time! haha

A day with ma bestie

Met Cheryl for dinner yest to pass her her belated bday pressie, as well as to have a short catch up with her. it's always every 4-6months when we'll meet once.. besties since pri 4 and still counting. aubrey and larling tagged along too and it was a great gathering.. guys get along well easily and NS life is always their main topic.. LOL

had dinner at tony roma's - famous for ribs and absolutely the best i've ever eaten. new york new york's ribs are not bad too but still far from tony roma's.

after which we caught a movie - the waterhorse, legend of the deep.. there wasn't any other available movie at that time slot, so we just watched this. it's about a lil boy raising a waterhorse, the fabled loch ness monster, from an egg. initially it was so cute, looked and behaved like a seal, but after it grew humongously, it became like a sea dinosaur. nothing fancy about this show.. just about the legend animal and the setting in WWII.

The Leap Year

What a special day today, once every four years.. was wondering who're the lucky people that are borned on this day. so if they are borned in 1984, then they'll only be 6 years old instead of the usual 24 years old! how cute. but the sad thing is, they'll receive bday pressies 6 times rather than their deserved 24 times -_- Anyway, happy birthday to the leap year souls!! (perhaps their wish is to hope that they can have their birthday every yr --> this shows that wishes never come true. LOL what rubbish.)

Yesterday was de-stress day with larling @ECP. chop chop went cycling then chop chop headed back home to cont studying. (sorry gals, didn't go sentosa with u all cos i really need to chop chop). while cycling we discussed where to go for grad trip.. it's really tough to decide, furthermore we can't seem to find traveling mates this time. anyone wants to backpack europe?? :)
