DTT Family Day

Yest was Deloitte's Family Day at the singapore zoo.. i didnt register to go but sherlyn couldnt make it last min and thus i was asked to go, if not ching and team would be short of one member for the amazing race activity. amazing race in the zoo was quite fun, but running ard in slippers was damn painful, giving me blisters all ard my feet. activities ended at 1 plus, and it was free and easy at the zoo thereafter. and so 6 mad gals went ard doing crazy stuff with noisy laughter all the way..

finally we decided to call it a day, then i rushed off to meet larling. smelling like one of the animals in the zoo, larling fetched me home to bathe first before gg to tampines to catch a movie. i wanted to watch Mama Mia, but larling heard Connected is quite nice, so we went for it. i totally enjoyed that show, not only because i like barbie hsu and louis koo, but also because the story plot was great. it was so much like a jackie chan film, less of the fighting scenes though.

F1 Singapore Grand Prix

i had the privilege to watch our first F1 night race finals for free!! i've got to thk larling and his dad for this wonderful pitstop grandstand tix. according to larling, Shell, which is one of the sponsors for Ferrari, gave his dad's co tix. and bcos his dad werent interested in F1 races at all, thus we got the chance to watch it!

we were seated right opposite the pits and yes, we could see Ferrari and crew right before our eyes. coincidentally, we saw Felipe Massa's fuel hose flying along his ferrari when he zoomed off before his crew could remove it in time. ferrari fans who were seated with us were yelling and shouting in the hope of directing their attention to Massa's problem. at first we thought that the crew was unaware because they proceeded to work on the next ferrari in line, which was Kimi Raikkonen's. it's after raikkonen's ferrari had driven off then the crew sprinted to Massa's rescue. i guess they had to finish on raikkonen before going on to save Massa. as a result of this disastrous incident, Massa dropped from 1st to 15th. all of our hearts sank.. and to make things worst, raikkonen had to crash into the boulder at his last 5 laps. even though i'm not really a fan of ferrari, i just feel sad for the team.

overall, the experience was definitely thrilling.. the high pitch roars of revving engine just sets me high. it was damn cool.. i couldnt stop thinking of it even till this morning. totally in love with F1.

at 530 was the Porsche Carrera Cup.. their cars have the lower pitch roaring engines, unlike F1 cars. of course i'd prefer F1 cars.. they are like the bigger version of tamiya cars. haha

630pm: F1 drivers track parade.. this is where the drivers would sit on vintage cars and being driven around the race track

after a round of warm-up, the cars were pushed in by the pit crew to their respective starting positions

once the cars speed off, pit crew members speed off too back to their respective pits. there's only one entrance, thus seeing the mad rush through the squeezy gate
