How I missed my DTT lovelies..

So touched that my DTT lovelies still love me as much and bothered to organise a meet-up bitching session with me!! Oooh.. missed you all so muchies!! Hope that you all can continue to survive well in DT, esp poor POKx5 who worked extremely hard til 11am!! *Salute*


Rushed over to meet them after work at esplanade.. yes they knocked off earlier than me nowadays. and yes I'm still leading a xiao gou gou's life. Sigh... No regrets though.

I didn't know promotion can a un-joyous thing. Promotion means more
work, heavier responsibility, higher expectations, and worst of
all..... no more OT pay!!!!!!!!!! FYI, my OT pay was close to 75% of
my gross salary for last month. This OT pay makes a huge diff to my
current meagre pay can. No OT pay means no motivation to work late,
but as a senior, it'd be expected that u stay later than the rest of
the team. Sigh.. I almost wanted to give up that promotion when my mgr
asked whether I had any violent objections. Super sad man... But I'll
be an idiot if I reject the offer right.. Argghhh!! feel like killing
myself right now.

K-ing away

The number of times that I went Karaoke singing is only around 5 times? I feel that I can't sing well and I don't have a great voice. I can't reach the high notes, so most of the time I'm singing either Jay's, xiao Zhu's or Jolin's easier songs. Haha. Anyway, Party World @ Northpoint is really not bad.. the rooms are very spacious and they have two flat screen tvs side by side - one for choosing songs and the other for singing. They even have leg massagers! Even ppl like me who doesn't sing alot wouldn't mind going a second time :)

Sleepy piggy

Right now I'm just like this piggy.. dead. feeling damn tired and exhausted. when will this ever come to an end?? Macau took 3 - 6 months.. will I be able to survive that long? I don't remember being so worn out during my audit days.. Or have I grown old? OT makes me old!! but i dont mind OT if I'm paid for it.. I'll cross my fingers when it comes to this month end :X

I've been working til 10pm average daily and even through wkends.. Couldn't have time to spend with larling and meetup with DT lovelies and friends. And I think I'll have to forgo my Phuket trip with them.. Now we're still struggling to make things go smoothly, it wouldn't be nice for me to take even 3 days leave when we are already so short-handed.. I doubt I can go for any holiday this year :(

Anyway, some person whom I used to hate earlier on wasn't that bad afterall. On the other hand, people whom I used to think was nice turned out to be quite a disappointment..

Guitar hero is so fun! Thks to ben and webpuppies for lending their place to us to jam some music. the drums are super fun; I didn't try the guitars cos I know I have no talent in multitasking my both set of fingers where you need to strum with your right and press the keys with your left at the same time..which means I can never learn the piano too! :(

Anyway such games should have songs which are more popular.. For most of the songs that we played, we've never heard of them before. the singer was like singing an english song in a foreign language. And half of the time it was me. LOL.

Where shall we go for holiday this year..? I've not been to Bangkok yet.. But larling doesn't seem very positive about that. The frequent protests and demostrations in Thailand really puts us off.. Most prob Hong Kong or Taiwan again? These two places are the best shopping places ever, with great food, great people and great culture. However, we might not have any travel kakis with us this time. Perhaps a short trip of 4 days 3 nights would be just good.

Celebrated Pok's bday at vivo's marche.. the auditors were all late and I queued alone for close to an hour before there were seats for 9 of us. :( it's not gd to knock off on time when the rest of them can't end work early. nevertheless, it was a great merry gathering.. hope you had a 'fes-tive' bday celebration POK! lol
